What is Roofgard

'Roofgard is a highly durable roof coating which protects and beautifies roof tiles giving them the colour and appearance of a new roof. Roofgard has been formulated to give superb performance for many years. It is available in both water based and solvent based versions.

Description

Your house is probably the largest single investment you will ever make, so it makes sense that you should protect its value.

One aspect of protection is the roof. Roof tiles are continuously attacked by the elements and become porous with age and as a result create the ideal conditions to promote the growth of moss and lichens.

This unwanted growth not only damages the surface of the tiles over a period of time but also results in a shabby appearance.

Roofgard gives the colour and appearance of a new roof at a fraction of the cost.

Before any work is undertaken a thorough inspection of the roof is made, all damaged tiles are replaced and any necessary re-pointing on hips, ridges and gables is carried out.

The roof is pressure cleaned and all moss, lichen and any other unwanted residue is removed. Gutterings are cleaned and the surrounding areas are protected to avoid any contamination caused during application.

After preparation is carried out, the first coat is applied which bonds to the tiles, this primer coat is followed by a second coat which completes the work leaving your roof protected with the appearance of a new roof.
